About GCWPL
The foundation stone of Golden Ceramic Works (P) Ltd. was laid down by late Ram Chandra Prasad
in the year 1981 which was incorporated into a company in 1984. This manufacturing unit
has been setup in Chirkunda, district Dhanbad, Jharkhand, India. In 1992, we
started manufacturing Roof Set bricks for EAF and LRF, specially for foundry &
casting industry @1500 MT per year.
Today the plant has a total capacity of 10000 MT of Shaped refractory and 5000 MT of Unshaped
refractory per year.
We are currently one of the leading suppliers of refractories to the Steel casting and foundry Industries.
The plant is modern and supported by a team of qualified professionals. The plant's existing capacity
is 15000 MT per annum. We cater to various Steel plants and steel foundries all over India and exports
are made to various countries in the far East and Middle East.
The company manufactures complete range of
refractories including:
Roofs Set Bricks for Electric Arc Furnace and Ladel Refining Furnace.
Fireclay bricks in medium & high heat duty in all shapes and sizes with Alumina contents from
30 to 45%.
High Grog and high Alumina refractories with Alumina contents from 45% to 80% for various
application in Steel plants, Cement Kilns/sponge Iron and Power Plants.
Insulation bricks in conventional and special light weight bricks.
Quality
Our products are manufactured under closed surveillance by a team of experienced
engineers and laboratory test as per the requirement of our consumer. We have a well
equipped laboratory, which functions under the guidance of our director - Mr. Pawan Kumar
Shah.
At present, our products are fired in state-of-the-art tunnel kiln, which is automatically
controlled for better results. However, some of the products are also fired in traditional
Down Draft Kiln for better results.
